It’s a long, playful ride, giving you all the time to cross-step and dance on your board. What’s rad is the size of the spot, there’s multiple peaks. GERUPUK INSIDE

Gerupuk Inside is where you step up. It’s the perfect middle ground between mellow and powerful waves. The waves here pack a little more punch than Tanjung Aan, faster takeoffs, steeper faces, and a bit more power. It’s like the perfect next step if you’ve been cruising at Tanjung Aan and want to level up. Perfect for practicing cross-steps, noserides, and getting that dreamy longboard flow.

EKAS INSIDE

• Access: 20-25-mn boat ride from Awang 
• Wave type: Left
• Best tide: Low to High, Mid-Tide

Ekas Inside is a whole experience. Waking up at 4 a.m., (yeah, early bird catches the best waves), watching the sunrise from the boat, soaking in the stillness. And then, WOW. You’re in the middle of nowhere. It’s PURE magic and peace. It reminds you how far away from the chaos of the world you are.
